A “CANDLE HOUSE” with an area of 273 sg.ft It is a digital construction kit of plywood that has been cut by a CNC machine.

The structure of the building is made of a skin of 45/64" (18mm) plywood on the outside and of 45/64" (18mm) plywood on the inside, and between those 11 13/16" (300mm) gap for insulation. This provides incredibly good U-values for the thermal efficiency of the house. In addition, the air tightness of the structure is also very good for the house; these are unique aspects of this house's technology.

A digital construction “CANDLE HOUSE” kit consists of pre-cut plywood parts for a structural shell only and is made of 45/64" (18mm) structural plywood, along with fixings to assemble the plywood structure.

The system of prefabricated frame technology could be insulated with mineral wool insulation up to 11 13/16" (300mm) thick and has high energy efficiency. In addition, the construction allows a high variability in exterior finishes (metal panels, wood clad, soft shingles, and many others). Interior decoration can be left as plywood or covered with any other materials.
