Shipping Container Home, – Shipping Container Home Home – $49,000 – Moorhead, IA

I built this container home in the summer of 2025 and nobody has ever lived in it. It has a large bedroom with a closet, a full kitchen with a wall mounted dining table/office space. The bathroom is very large for a container home and includes a laundry washer and dryer. I did not include a living room area because I wanted the other rooms to feel full sized and not like the cramped rooms normally found in these container homes. There is a place to mount a tv above the dining table and in the bedroom above the closet door. The hot water heater, electrical panel, and plumbing is located in a separate "utilities" room that you can only access through the large metal doors that come on the container. This container is currently set up to hook to regular plumbing and electrical just like a regular house but it can cheaply and easily be hooked to a camper type set up or even an off grid setup. There is plenty of room in the utilities room to put a water tank if necessary. It has very thick spray foam insulation that keeps it nice and cold in the summer and warm in winter.
