Bivvi Base Camp Cabin

Our Base Camp cabin starts at $33,000, this is for a fully finished stick built cabin (we use 4x6 premium grade doug fir rafters, tng pine car decking, plywood and framing lumber) on a trailer with electrical and lighting, white oak flooring, premium pine interior and our premium aluminum faced wood windows and doors (Sierra Pacific). The Base Camp is pre fabricated directly onto a black painted metal dual axle trailer chassis that acts as both subfloor and an insulative layer with rigid foam. We hand build each cabin to order and customize based on clients needs and wishes. We have sent cabins to South Dakota, California, New Braunfels, Waco, Big Bend National Park, Washington State and locally here in Oregon. We source all of our materials, trailer, windows and doors, from American companies, our cabins and major components are 100% made in America. We strive to use FSC certified lumber when possible, like in our doors and windows and we minimize waste by utilizing a combination of intelligent design, efficient building practices, LED lighting, efficient appliances and materials that are meant to last generations. Our benchmark for every cabin we hand build is to create the "100 year cabin" so that our structures can be used by countless generations. Bivvi began in 2019 in the Pacific Northwest when two friends sought out to build a wilderness retreat inspired by the backcountry huts, fire towers, and yurts throughout the Northwestern United States.
