Hey there! Thanks for checking out my van conversion. There is a multitude of reasons why someone decides to consider the van life. Some people see it as an opportunity to save a significant amount of money, others see it as a desirable way of life. Van life will take you on some incredible adventures and introduce you to people and situations that you would have never met any other way. It is one of the best decisions I have made in my life! Don’t think for a second that because Im selling my rig that Im done with van life. Ive actually just bought a bigger box truck to build out! Building out a truck is very rewarding but is also very time consuming. Im a disabled veteran who does not have to work at the present moment so building a truck was a viable option for me because of all of the time that I had. Maybe youre not in the same position. I too was in your shoes at one point and I was days away from buying a sprinter van when I instead decided to buy a box truck. My reason for doing this was that I wanted to be as incognito as possible. Nowadays, police are more and more aware of the growing community of people choosing to live out of their vehicles. If you see a sprinter van with a roof vent you automatically assume someone is living in it! This is what I loved about the box truck. Significantly less people have seen or heard of a box truck being converted. This also allows me to fit right in most places I wish to park because it looks like it could just be a commercial vehicle for a business in the area im parking.
